Handy Cheatsheet: The Fonts and Colors Used by Popular Social Networks

If there's one thing I always forget when designing apps and websites, it's the hex/RGB color codes used by popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Literally every time, without fail!

Most websites these days link to their social channels. Displaying these links as icons using the correct brand color helps the user to recognise the links faster. I mean, it's quite easy to distingusish between Facebook Blue and Twitter Blue, right? So why not make these icons stand out more?

Here's a list of all the major social networks we're using today, and what colors/fonts they're using on the web and in their mobile apps.

We originally wrote this article a few years back, but Facebook, Twitter and Google+ have all updated their brand colors and/or fonts since then. Plus, a tonne of newer social channels such as Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook Messenger have arrived since then. You'll definately want to bookmark this!
