View in 2: How YouTube is Helping People Study

While many YouTube videos are meant to entertain, an emerging educational genre is quite the opposite. In this episode, we explore Study With Me videos, in which viewers are invited to watch—and study along with—people who have live streamed or recorded themselves studying. These videos help viewers simply get started studying, which is often the biggest mental hurdle to overcome. By seeing healthy, productive study habits on screen, students feel inspired to get to work. These videos also act as a timer to show students how long they've been studying or how much they can accomplish when they're not distracted.

YouTube Ads Leaderboard: The Best of May

Nike flashed back to LeBron James' teenage days in an ad that racked up millions of views in less than 24 hours! And former Full House star Dave Coulier emerged from in between the couch cushions as GEICO pretended he'd been there since the mid 90's. Check out all of the top ads that people chose to watch!
