I've been working on ideas for how we could make Versioning even better for you all, and take it beyond a daily newsletter full of useful links. I enjoy putting it together and the format, the tone and subject matter seems to appeal to people, but I thought there was more potential. I wanted to provide more in-depth coverage of the stuff that matters. Starting in June, each month Versioning will focus on a different, important subject, providing in-depth coverage to help you learn and improve your skills. On top of the daily email, which will keep you updated on the wider world of the web, you'll also receive theme-specific content:
June will be dedicated to Modern JavaScript, and will feature interviews with PayPal full-stack JavaScript dev, teacher and Google Developer Expert Kent C. Dodds, CodePen and CSS-Tricks founder Chris Coyier and pre-eminent JavaScript teacher Wes Bos. Plus a constantly-updated collection of modern JavaScript links, three free SitePoint ebooks, and more! Looking ahead, here's what I've got planned. (Please feel free to suggest others you'd like to see!)
This all starts Monday! I'm looking forward to the new challenge, and if you join us, I promise to work hard to make it fun and useful.
