Sitepoint Front-End This week we have plenty of great content for you — from coverage of HTML5 cross-browser polyfills to jQuery-inspired native DOM manipulation methods, right through to a eulogy for Flash! But first, some housekeeping: after this issue, SitePoint's Front-end Newsletter will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future. From this point forward, we're going to focus more heavily on producing top quality content for SitePoint's HTML & CSS channel. On the newsletter front, we'll be continuing — and further developing — Versioning, our popular daily newsletter that has a full run-down of important news, articles, products, and services for web people, including plenty of coverage of front-end development. You'll definitely still see our content in there, plus a lot of other good stuff. If you prefer a newsletter that focuses on some aspect of front-end development, we recommend the excellent weekly FrontEnd Focus, produced by the Cooperpress newsletter family. You might also want to subscribe to JavaScript Weekly, also from Cooperpress, if you aren't already a subscriber. Overall, it's been great to keep you updated with the latest front-end news and links from SitePoint and around the web. As mentioned, you'll see our content featured regularly in various Cooperpress publications and in Versioning. So please enjoy this final issue of SitePoint Front-end and thanks again for your continued support! Louis Lazaris & Maria Antonietta Perna, Co-editors, HTML & CSS |
